Abstract

For the time being, with the unbelievable progress of wireless communication networks and internet technologies such as mobilized networks and computers, all could be reached easily on the internet. Accordingly, cryptographic methods are needed to fulfill a specified level of integrity, confidentiality and security. In this research, we suggested the color image encryption and decryption process depending on the shuffling of pixels by splitting the image into 64 block in the three stages and rotate the blocks in each phase with 90o angle in clockwise direction. In order to increase the confusion and disengagement between neighboring pixels, the Arnold cat map used to get the most suitable shuffling between pixels through concealing the statistical structure of pixels, then implement Advanced Encryption standard (AES) algorithm to improve the security, Advanced Encryption standard (AES) depends as a sequence of secret keys generated by 2D Henon map. Indeed, the reverse process of encryption were done to get the original image. The proposed encryption schema analyzed and tested on many color images and the results showed an authenticity to resist the statistical and differential attacks and provides a significant improvements of security.
