This study aims to identify the impact of the indiscriminate spread of cities in the Libyan schemes, and embodies the core of the study applied to the city of Tripoli as a model for this deployment. Being the capital, where the features of this problem is obviously appeared on the floor, and reflected on the vocabulary scheme and its urban fabric.
The first chapter is devoted to the study of urban development in Libya, while the uniqueness of Chapter second of the study of the natural characteristics of the city of Tripoli in an attempt to link some of the elements that have helped in the emergence of this proliferation.
The third chapter touched the historical urban development that has occurred on the city of Tripoli, across different periods through a geographical and historical reading of the available documents, as a prelude to determine the nature of its morphological and planning foundations that have passed through the stages of planning The chapter also reviewed the land uses in the city and the analysis of the current reality to find out what the actual and proposed schemes they actually have, in order to determine its completion rate, violations and what has not been implemented. This helped such randomly spreaded buildings to occur and to spoil the city planner.
The chapter fourth and fifth in their inception a summary of slums Arab countries and the Western world to determine the paradox between them and the slums in Libya, with a brief overview of the concepts of slums and classification standards. They also reviewed the origins and composition of random deployment areas and locations of their presence in the city through visualizations and satellite maps, and reviewed the reasons why this problem is rampant on the floor of the city.

And felt that their success must coincide with the implementation of the third-generation schemes so go in parallel lines within a specific timeframe, to be a comprehensive process inside and outside the scheme.
The study included the conclusion reached from the results and proposes recommendations. And finally been documented sources and references study, which was reliable.
