The main objective ci t h i s reseerch mas to evaluate the extension program of f i s h culture i n r i c e f i e l d s i n some v i l l a g e s of Kafr El-2,i.eikh Governorate. Accordingly f i v e s p e c i f i c objectives v:Ere steted as fo1lom.s: (1) To i d e n t i f y personel, social, conmuncational, economical c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s of the respondents. ( 2 ) To study the educatior-sl e f f e c t s of the program, throughout : a) To deternine the krioxledge level and the adoption l e v e l of the reco,m-ended practices in t h i s program. b) To study the relatLcrrship betreen the knowledge l e v e l (1/1) and the sdopticn l e v e l (1/2) as dependent variables, with some of the independent varlables. c ) To know i f t h e ferc~rsh ave followed t h e reconvended p r a c t i c e s related to tk~ep rogram i n t h e co~ings escons (continuation:. d) To know the farmers attftudes toward f i s h c-dture Pn the rice f i e l d .
