Abstract
the present investigation was carried out to study the effect of some volatile oils as natural substances on honey bee, apis mellifera l. twenty colonies hybird were chosen from an apiary of abo-el-seer, mansoura region, dakahlia governorate from the beginning of december 1997 to the end of november 1998.
