Abstract

The majority of pollution in the environment is caused by fungicides, and among
these fungicides is Carbendazim (CBZ), it is used as a widespread treatment for a
group of fungal diseases that affect ornamental plants, vegetables, fruits, and field
crops. Exposure to fungicides leads to a change in embryo toxicity, genotoxicity, and
cytotoxicity in developing and adult animals. from this standpoint, The present study
was aimed to study the effects of coriander seed extract on testicular and renal
toxicity and oxidative stress in male rats.
Exposure of human organs to CBZ for a long period of time causes toxicity.
Therefore, the purpose of the current study was to clarify how coriander seed extract
affects testicular toxicity caused by CBZ. Thus, compared to the control groups and
the groups that were given coriander seed extract, the current results showed lower
levels of testosterone and higher LH and FSH. However, coriander seed extract
treatments enhanced this modification.
