Abstract
MSG, a commonly used food additive, has been reported to have adverse effects on reproductive organs. Vitamin D, known for its various physiological functions, including its role in reproductive health, was hypothesized to mitigate the toxic effects of MSG. The present study aimed to evaluate the toxic effect of monosodium glutamate on testicular and ovarian tissue in pubertal male and female albino rats and the possible protective effect of vitamin D.
