Abstract Placenta accrete spectrum (PAS) disorder is a growing obstetric concern. The rise in cesarean section rates worldwide over the past decades has led to a fundamental increase in the prevalence of PAS. PAS can be classifed into three major variants of placenta accreta, placenta increta and placenta percreta according to the degree of trophoblastic invasion through the myometrium and the uterine serosa. |
