It is generally considered to be safe for use when administered in doses recommended but at over doses PTL produces acute liver damage. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the ameliorative role of OLE and MLE against hepatic toxicity induced by PTL in rats.
This experiment was applied on forty male Sprague–Dawley rats weighing 200–220 g were prepared for this experiment. They were obtained from the Laboratory Animal Research Unit, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University.
