Imam Al- Ghazali possessed an extraordinary genius in various fields of Islamic sciences and knowledge, such as Sufism, jurisprudence, principles, theology, philosophy, logic, and ethics. Imam Al-Ghazali combined philosophical leadership, jurisprudential encyclopedia, and spiritual tendencies, but here we emphasize in particular the art of the principles of jurisprudence, which contains principles and rules that derive Among them are the legal rulings and their detailed evidence. Imam al-Ghazali’s fundamentalist thought progressed from one stage to another according to his intellectual maturity with the passing of days, as his three famous works, ””Al-Mankhool, then Shifa Al-Ghaleel, and Ending with Al-Mustasfa”” differ from each other in their approach, direction, how to convey their meaning, and the ways in which they treat fundamentalist issues. Al-Mankhul’s book, which is his first fundamentalist book, is as if it were a collection of the opinions of his sheikh, the Imam of the Two Holy Mosques, Imam Abu al-Ma’ali al-Juwayni. While Al-Mustastafa, which is his last book, testifies to the breadth of his idea and is the result of his experiences that he acquired throughout his life preoccupied with this art. Imam Al-Ghazali was greatly influenced by the sayings of those who had in his heart inclinations toward him in his first fundamentalist book, Al-Mankhul, to the point that with his last book, Al-Mustasfa, he personally influenced other fundamentalist scholars who came after him in a profound and indisputable effect, as if he were an imam completely independent of others. On this basis, this study seeks to reveal the multiple directions that Imam Al-Ghazali followed, while explaining the influences of Imam Al-Ghazali on others, which made him commit to different methods of performance and his influence on those who came after him among the scholars of this art as a result of his extensive knowledge and with an aspiration to the new things that he discovered through his work as a unique personality. This art also indicates the way in which Al-Ghazali was unique in each of his three books separately. Imam Al-Ghazali had a unique approach and multiple trends in the field of jurisprudence due to his academic reach and fundamental understanding, in addition to the clear influence he had on others, as this is clearly evident among the scholars of jurisprudence who came after them. We can conclude that Imam Al-Ghazali’s services towards this art are a great asset to her. Its profound impact and the various directions he followed in his fundamentalist writings indicate the gradual maturity of his idea and the breadth of his experiences in this art. Imam Al-Ghazali’s atonement of the philosophers expressed a moment of crisis, a stormy time, and a period of decline, so his speech was directed backwards, to the past, not to the future. Thus, it represents a project that is compatible with a society in crisis, which has not yet established its feet on solid ground. In a time of storms and historical turning points, the question is urgently raised: where are we? where are we going?
