Abstract
Azithromycin is an antibiotic used for treatment of respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract infection. Azithromycin has some adverse effects on liver and kidney.
This thesis aimed to study and know the protective effect of vitamin E at a dose of (100 mg / kg body weight per day for ten days by oral dosing) and selenium (0.3 mg / kg body weight per day for ten days by oral dosing) on some negative effects caused by the use of azithromycin 30 mg / kg body weight daily for ten days by oral dosage) and this effect on the kidneys and liver was tested through histopathology.
