Abstract
Gentamicin is an effective, widely used aminoglycoside antibiotic, active against severe and life-threatening infections however, the risk of nephrotoxicity, hepatotoxicity and oxidative damage limit its clinical use. Hence, the subject of our work was to explore the ameliorative effect of moringa oleifera on gentamicin-induced side effects mainly hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity.
