Scientific research is the means to develop societies in the current period by conducting studies and producing results from them that help us develop and improve these societies and advance the level, as excellence in group sports has become in many countries through world championships, Olympics, etc. This indicates that These teams have achieved and are still achieving a great deal of scientific, technical and tactical progress in team sports.
The sport of basketball has developed in recent years in terms of the form of skill performance and playing methods, which are still undergoing further development, and the motor activity in it has become more complex. In order for basketball, as one of the group games of a special nature, to maintain the position it achieves, it was necessary for its players to perform All the requirements of the game and its basic skills are at a high and distinct level, and therefore every player must excel at Playing with positivity, good behavior and speed of performance. The greater the players’ skill abilities, the greater their ability to carry out the duty and the good implementation of plans, whether defensive or offensive, and to achieve victory in order to reach the highest levels. Also, the development of defensive methods led to the difficulty of attacking success, so it was necessary to develop offensive performances due to the development of methods. Attacking: Therefore, the team must be proficient in its offensive performances, whether collective or individual, within the various attacking formations and methods.
Kamal al-Din Abdel-Rahman Darwish, Imad Abbas, and Qadri Morsi (2002) also agree that the method of analyzing a match is one of the coach’s tools for acting in an objective manner on the condition of each player in his team. Rather, it depends on tracking and evaluating the teams’ performance and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.

Research problem :
The researcher believes that there are individual and group games that affect the outcome of the match, and this is what raised the researcher’s mind The idea of the research is to study and analyze those matches and get out of them with the most frequent and successful offensive and defensive performances within the matches and arrange them in terms of frequency and classify them in terms of offensive formation through the use of advanced methods and the development of technology and means of data collection for statistics and technical analysis of offensive tactical positions, which enables coaches to obtain sufficient information about Their team and the competing teams benefit them in improving the preparation processes and leading the competitions in the various tournaments by analyzing the attack
And the defense of these teams, which raises the physical, skill and tactical levels to try to reach the ideal performance and improve the results through the offensive formation, the number of attacks that were successful for each match, how the attack was successful, the type of offensive formation and the offensive skills used within the formation, whether the attack is individual, group or team, which helps. The coach saves time and effort in the process of developing the offensive and defensive aspects of the team’s collectiveness and effectiveness of performance. Research objective:

- What is the effectiveness of the most influential offensive and defensive skills in the Cairo Region Basketball Championship (3X3) matches?
Research Methodology :
In light of the research objectives and nature, the researcher used the descriptive method in the analytical method to suit it to achieve the research objectives.
Research community :
There are (16) basketball teams participating in the Cairo Region 3x3 Championship, which are held in the stadiums of Al-Ahly Club (Nasr City) and Al-Zohour Club.
The research sample :
The researcher analyzed (10) matches from the Cairo Region Championship (3x3), starting with the quarter-finals.

Basic study:
Based on the first and second exploratory studies, the researcher applied the basic study of the research, so he attended the championship matches, starting from the quarter-finals to the final round, so that these matches represented the research sample, and the matches were as follows:

Conclusions:
Within the limits of the research sample, its characteristics, and the methodology used, and according to the results of the statistical analysis, the researcher was able to reach the following conclusions:

Passing skills achieved a positive result on the outcome of the match, as they were applied with a percentage of (21.58%), shooting came in second place with a percentage of (20.46%), dribbling was in third place with a percentage of (19.22%), and attacking came in fourth place with a percentage of A percentage of (12.50%), deception games came in fifth place with a percentage of (11.64%), defense came in sixth place with a percentage of (10.45%), and curtain games came in seventh place with a percentage of (4.15%) in the region championship. Cairo Basketball (3x3).
Star Games skills are the most influential and effective in the 2020 Cairo Region Championship (3x3) matches.
2/ Research recommendations:
In light of what the research conclusions indicated, the researcher recommends the following:
Focus training to increase effectiveness in exploiting offensive motor performance (passing - dribbling - shooting - attacking - defending - curtain games - deception games).
Increase training of attackers to exploit available opportunities in a positive manner during matches.
It is necessary to pay attention to training methods that focus on shooting from different shooting areas.
Conduct further studies on the different age stages to identify the most important skills at each age stage.
Focus on playing positions (2, 3, 4 and 5) because of their importance in analyzing the performance of the team that wins the tournament.
