Title of study: The social Value- system as Reflected by Folk and Modified Folkloric songs in The Egyptian Radio and Television and the Cultivated expectations as seen by specialists. The Problem of the study is: The problem of this study lies in trying to identify the instilling expectations that popular and populist songs leave on their followers and the extent of the impact of these songs on the system of social values and their impact on them, and what is reflected from these popular and populist songs on their followers in terms of negative behaviors on society and what these songs leave of effects negative or positive psychology on the behavior of individuals; Which helps us to make decisions to help the community and build it in a sound manner consistent with our inherent values in the era of satellite channels. Study Questions: The main question: What are the social values that popular and populist songs reflect on Egyptian radio and television and the instilled expectations for them as seen by specialists? • There are sub-questions for the study, which are: 1- What is the type of presenting the song on Egyptian radio and television (authentic folklore presentation - folklore inherited – populist؟ 2- What is the temporal space occupied by popular and populist songs on radio and television stations, the study sample? 3- What is the linguistic level used in presenting folk and populist songs on radio and television? 4- What language is used in the song? 5- What are the means used to display popular and populist songs on the radio? 6- What are the means used to display popular and populist songs on television? 7- What is the lyrical template used in presenting the study sample songs? 8- What is the type of artistic content presented by popular and populist songs on radio and television stations, the study sample? 9- How many performers of popular and populist songs? 10- What kind of performers are the folk and populist songs broadcast on Egyptian radio and television (men, women, or duets)? 11- What is the lyrical formula for the songs of the study sample? 12- What is the writing style used for the songs in the study sample? 13- What is the context in which the popular songs and populist songs are presented in the study sample (independent or within a movie or an operetta)? 14- What are the issues raised in the popular and populist songs, the study sample? 15- What style is used in the songs of the study sample? 16- What are the evocations used in popular and populist songs on Egyptian radio and television? 17- What are the values that popular and populist songs reflect on radio and television? 18- What are the positive values and negative patterns adopted by the respondents who follow popular and populist songs? Specific questions for the in-depth interview guide: 1- How satisfied are you with the interest in popular and popular songs on Egyptian radio and television? 2- What is your view of the social values reflected in popular and populist songs on Egyptian radio and television? 3- from your point of view, how do popular and populist songs reflect the experiences and cultures of society? 4- from your point of view, what are the expected effects of popular and populist songs? Study hypotheses The main hypothesis: “There are statistically significant differences between the two types of songs under study, “populist and populist,” in the direction of the social values presented in them, “positive and negative.” Type and Methodology of the Study: Study methodology: The media survey methodology, which is considered one of the most prominent and most used methodologies in media studies in general and descriptive studies in particular. Type of study: This study belongs to the descriptive studies aimed at portraying, analyzing and evaluating the characteristics of a specific group or a specific situation that is predominantly specific. The researcher relied on content analysis: by analyzing the content of a sample of popular songs and a sample of populist songs broadcast by radio and television stations. Study sample: The researcher will conduct an exploratory study to identify the songs. The study sample, the analytical study sample: some popular and populist songs. Data collection tools: 1- Exploratory study 2- Content analysis: The content analysis tool is one of the most important tools that help achieve the objectives of this research. The natural units of matter, which is meant here as the unit of the song, so we will learn through the use of this analytical unit about (the name of the song - the time period of the song) • The personality unit The researcher will use this unit to analyze the nature of the role played by the lyrics of the popular song that adheres to positive values and transmits negative values. 3- An in-depth interview guide that will be evaluated by a group of media professors, sociologists, and a group of folk art experts. The main findings of the study • Folk and populist songs are an essential part of the cultural heritage of people around the world. where these songs reflect the spirit, history and traditions of the people, in (90.20%) of the folk songs, the song is presented by “Authentic Folk Presentation”, followed by the category of folk songs who present the song “Inherited Popular Folklore” by (9.80%). • (64.71%) of folk songs and populist songs use “subtle colloquial” language, followed by the category of folk songs in which the levels of language used are “vulgar colloquial” with a rate of (35.29%). On the general taste of the audience in choosing the songs that he hears. • The language levels used in popular songs and populist songs were “vulgar colloquial” with a percentage of (85.71%), followed by the category of popular songs in which the levels of language used were “subtle colloquial” with a percentage of (14.29). • The dialect used in popular songs and populist songs is “civilized” with a rate of (58.82%), followed by the category of folk songs that use the dialect “rural in Wajh Bahri” where the percentage reached (29.41%), followed by the category of folk songs that use the dialect “rural Saeedi” where it reached Its percentage is (5.88%), followed by the category of popular songs that use the “Swahili” dialect, which reached (3.92%). The researcher noticed that there is no general category that uses the “Bedouin” dialect. • (95%) of the means of presenting popular songs and populist songs on the radio are “singing accompanied by music”, followed by means of presenting folk songs and populist songs on the radio by “sound effects” by (5%), and we note that there is no total category that uses means to display popular songs And populist songs on the radio, ”Sawt” and ”Music”. • (68.63%) of the song performers are men, and (31.37%) of the song performers are “women”. Then, we note that there is no song performer in terms of the “duet” type. • The results reached (96%) of writing the song in the style of prose text, while the text is poetic by (4%). • The context of the popular song and the populist song “independent” amounted to (52.94%) of the total sample, followed by the category of popular songs that contextualizes the popular song and the populist song “within a movie”, as their percentage reached (29.41%), then the category of popular songs that contextualizes the popular song and the song Populism ”Obert” by (17.65%).
