Abstract
In the last decades, transoral microsurgery has become a widely accepted surgical procedure for definitive diagnosis and treatment of selected benign and malignant laryngeal diseases.Good exposure and visualization of the glottic plane,especially at the level of the anterior one-third of the vocal folds and anterior commissure (AC), should be always regarded as an
essential prerequisite for an effective operative micro laryngoscopy.
