Abstract

The current study aim to determine the chemical properties, phytochemical screening and antioxidant activities of Stevia rebaudiana leaves, and synthesis of different nano materials such as Cu-NPs,Fe2O3-NPs and ZnO-NPs by using Stevia rebaudiana leaves aqueous extract and their characterization. Also, study the effect of (Cu-NPs,Fe2O3-NPs and ZnO-NPs) on some blood hematological parameters of Domestic Duck . Elucidate the effect of in ovo injection with some green NPs (Cu-NPs,Fe2O3-NPs and ZnO-NPs) on histological observation of liver tissue.
The following data were recorded: The moisture content, ash content, fibers content, crude lipid content, crude protein content of Stevia rebaudiana leaves were 34.2, 6.5, 17.5, 5.3 and 7.4 %, respectively.The total carbohydrate content and reducing sugar of Stevia rebaudiana leaves were 28.2 % and 10.58 %. In aqueous extract of S. rebaudiana leaves polyphenols and total flavonoids were 2.07 mg/ ml and 0.94 mg /ml. In aqueous extract of S. rebaudiana leaves, IC50 of DPPH was 3.19 µg/ml compared to IC50 of ascorbic acid was 2.56 µg/ml. from TEM micrographs, (Cu-NPs), (Fe2O3-NPs) and (ZnO-NPs) produced by aqueous extract of Stevia rebaudiana leaves were spherical with particle sizes ranging from 2 to 16 nm. Reducing sugars was essential to the reduction of FeCL2+FeCL3, Cu (NO3)2 and Zn (NO3)2 and the stability of (Cu-NPs), (Fe2O3-NPs) and (ZnO-NPs). It was observed that (Cu-NPs), (Fe2O3-NPs) and (ZnO-NPs) stability increased with the increase in Reducing sugars and flavonoids. In addition, phenolic compounds had a remarkable effect on the reducing power of aqueous extract. The (Cu-NPs), (Fe2O3-NPs) and (ZnO-NPs) created by aqueous Stevia rebaudiana leaf extract displayed remarkable stability. Thus, the values of the zeta potential were -27.7, -30.4, and -19.2 mV, respectively.
CONCLUSION
Based on the previous results, it is recommended to use Stevia rebaudiana as reducing and capping agent to synthesis Cu-NPs,Fe2O3-NPs and ZnO-NPs and use the green NPs (Cu-NPs,Fe2O3-NPs and ZnO-NPs) on some blood hematological parameters of Domestic Duck and use in ovo injection with some green NPs (Cu-NPs,Fe2O3-NPs and ZnO-NPs) on histological observation of liver tissue.
