This study aimed to investigate the nature of interrelationships between male and female adolescents in TV dramas in order to identify the availability of romantic and realistic dimensions and elements in these relationships. It also aimed to investigate the realistic and romantic vision of the interrelationships between male and female adolescents in the viewers’ subjective social reality. This study aimed to investigate the nature of mutual relationships between male and female adolescents in TV dramas in order to identify the availability of romantic and realistic dimensions and elements in these relationships. It also aimed to investigate the realistic and romantic vision of the interrelationships between male and female adolescents in the viewers’ subjective social reality. The study also aimed to identify how viewers expect social roles in those relationships.The researcher analyzed a sample of television series which was represented in three television series that included content related to the interrelationships between adolescents. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are:- The analytical study indicated that friendship relationships topped the types of interrelationships between male and female adolescents in TV dramas, the study sample, followed by emotional attachment relationships.- The results of the study showed the clarity of the dimensions of romanticism and realism in the interrelationships between male and female adolescents in television dramas, which were represented in the social dimension, the psychological dimension, and the emotional philosophical dimension in a medium manner. The results of the field study showed that the level of awareness of the study sample of the social reality of the interrelationships between male and female adolescents was medium between romanticism and realism.- The results of the field study showed that the level of awareness of the study sample of the symbolic reality of the interrelationships between male and female adolescents presented in television dramas was medium between romanticism and realism. - The results of the field study showed that the percentage of those who are clear about realistic and romantic dimensions and elements was moderately clear, which reflects their subjective reality. - The results of the field study showed a medium level of expectations between romanticism and realism about the social roles in the mutual relations between male and female adolescents among the sample members. - The results of the field study showed the existence of a statistically significant correlation between the intensity of exposure of male and female adolescents to television drama and their level of awareness of the social reality of both romantic and realistic relationships between them.
