Abstract
The study of this work was designed to investigate the anti-inflammatory and apoptotic activity of propolis nanoparticles compared to silymarin drug in carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced liver fibrosis and nephropathy on albino rat model. Male albino rats (n = 70) weighing 200 to 250 g, obtained from the Animal House of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University were housed in a specific pathogen free animal laboratory and permitted free access to food and water.
After 2 weeks of adaptation, rats were randomly divided into 7 groups each group containing 10 rats.
