Abstract

Water covers over two thirds of the Earth’s surface. Contamination levels have been increased due to introduction of different waste products into estuaries and seas especially those in industrial and population centers (Shreadah et al. 2011). Anthropogenic contaminants introduced into the environment had participated in deterioration of some of the world’s aquatic communities (Al Shami et al. 2016). As general, inputs from natural sources are generally low compared to those from anthropogenic sources (El-Nemr et al. 2012). Globally, water pollution is considered as one of the serious problems and it has been suggested to be the leading worldwide cause of death and diseases that contribute more than 14,000 people died daily (El-Fadly et al. 2016).
