Abstract
This thesis comprises four chapters in addition to summaries in English and Arabic;
The first chapter; General introduction which consists of a brief literature review of celecoxib and its analogues, in addition to an account on their cytotoxic activity.
The second chapter; Recent advances in the development of celecoxib analogs as anticancer agents: A review.
The third chapter; Design and synthesis of novel celecoxib analogues with potential cytotoxic and pro-apoptotic activity against breast cancer cell line MCF-7.
The fourth chapter; Design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of new celecoxib analogs as apoptosis inducers and cyclooxygenase‐2 inhibitors
