Abstract
This study done to know the Causes of Acute Kidney Injury in Egyptian Children. The study included 178 case (73 female and 105 male) from one month to 18 year. These cases were admitted to pediatric kidney department in AboElreish hospital from January 2010 to June 2013 and diagnosed as having AKI. The Patients not satisfying AKI definitions were excluded. The study showed that the major causes of AKI were Rabidly Progressive Glomerulonephritis(24.2%) then Obstructive Uropthy (22.5%) then Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (17.4%)then Akute Kidney Injurry of Uunknown Aetiology(16.8) then Dehydration (11.8%) then Sepsis (4.5%) then interstitial nephritis (2.8%
