المستخلص BPH has been known for several centuries to be a cause of urinary dysfunction in men. BPH represents the commonest cause for LUTS with its incidence increasing with age. For over eight decades, TURP has been considered the cornerstone of surgical management for BPH. However it carries a complication risk and many patients might be unfit for surgery.
