Abstract
The antimicrobial activity of certain medicinal plants (volatile oils) were determined in vitro against 7 clinical multidrug resistant (MDR) isolates .Data revealed that chamomile oil give high activity against different test organisms. The oil of selected plant that gives high activity was separated by using TLC. The spots were detected at different RF values.The physicochemical characteristics of the fractions which give the broad-spectrum activity against different test organisms were subjected to I.R, HNMR and mass spectra to obtain its molecular weight and identification .The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the chamomile oil against the resistant bacteria varied between 0.05 and 25mg/ml. vancomycin with 5% chamomile oil give the higher activity against all tested bacteria. Anticancer activity of Ü-bisabolol in vitro on two cell line human pancreatic cell line and human liver cancer. Antimicrobial activity of gel against resistant bacteria , the results revealed that the most sensitive bacteria to gel are S.haemolyticus and K.pneumoniae
