Abstract The current study was carried out during two successive seasons of 2018/19 and 2019/20 on two-year-old Arabian jasmine (Jasminum sambac L. “Grand Duke of Tuscany”) plants. The present study was carried out at a private farm in Al Sananiyah, Damietta Governorate, under the supervision of the vegetables and floriculture department, Faculty of Agriculture, Damietta University, to study the effect of foliar spraying with microelements (boron at 80 ppm, zinc at 120 ppm and their mixture), stimulators (yeast extract 5 g/l, salicylic acid 200 ppm and their mixture) and combination of microelements and stimulators treatments on the flowering of plants. The following data were recorded: Vegetative growth parameters expressed as plant height (cm), number of branches/plant, number of leaves/branch, leaf area (cm2), the dry weight/plant(g) and Dry matter %. Flowering characteristics expressed as number of flowering points/plant, number of single flowers/plant, number of clusters/plant, number of flowers/cluster (NFC), number of total flowers/plant, flowering velocity coefficient. Biochemical content expressed as tryptophan amino acid (µg/g), total phenols (mg/g), total carbohydrates (mg/100 mg), reducing sugars determination (mg/100 mg). |
