المستخلص

Israel is aware that Africa, especially countries of West Africa, play a major role in the Arab Israeli conflict and as such, have penetrated these countries through establishing relations with them. Israel’s consciousness of the strategic, security, cultural and civilized stance of the Arab world, led to the attempts to detach the Arab world from Africa. The Israeli efforts to separate the West African countries from the Arab World have been the focus of their attention through supporting these countries by various means. In their attempt to accomplish this, they have exerted all efforts through propagating new ideologies to abolish the tide of Nasser’s devotees.
Israel has also been keen on improving its strategic presence in West Africa, comprising 15 countries, through diverting the attention of these countries from the atrocities committed against the Palestinians. It also aimed to decrease the influence of Turkey, China, and Iran in the area.
Africa’s diversified wealth, strategic position, and young work force constitute a plausible attraction for most world countries, including Israel, which strengthened its security, military and economic ties, and cooperation with such countries.
This study throws light on a vital strategic issue that threatens the Egyptian Arab national security and at the same time complements previous studies that dealt with Israel’s policies towards various world countries. It also highlights Israel’s maneuvers to detach the Arab world away from Africa, through encouraging African Americans to return to live permanently in West Africa. In order to achieve its foreign policy in West Africa, Israel has also sought the backing up of countries such as the USA, France, and Russia.
The study would also shed some light on Israel’s rapidly growing economy and technological advances.
