Abstract
This study was carried out at Plant Production Department Laboratories, Faculty of Agriculture (Saba Basha), Alexandria University, Cotton Research Institute, ARC, Giza and Cotton Arbitration and Testing General Organization (CATGO), Egypt, on some Egyptian cotton varieties, lint grades and some instruments, during 2017,2018 and 2019 seasons. Six commercial Egyptian cotton varieties representing the two categories of Egyptian cotton were used. Each variety includes three lint grades as follows; Good to Fully Good (G/FG), Good+1/4 (G+1/4) and Good (G). For fiber properties, all tests were performed at the cotton technology Research Laboratories, Cotton Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center (ARC), Giza, Egypt at the laboratories Fiber and Spinning Testing Sector of cotton tests Cotton lint grade: was performed by Cotton Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center (ARC), Giza, Egypt.
