Abstract
This Thesis focuses and the main objective of this study on the comparison between some Egyptian cotton varieties (Giza 94, Giza 92 and Giza 86) and some Pima American cotton varieties (Ultima 6 and Supima) by two spinning systems compact spinning system and conventional ring spinning system with specify spin limit for each of cotton varieties used in the study in order to achieve the required quality of yarn for each of this variety of cotton varieties. The present investigation included five cotton varieties that were used as experimental material. These varieties were three Egyptian commercial cotton varieties (Giza 94, Giza 92 and Giza 86) as long-staple cottons (LS) on 2018/2019 season. and two Pima American cotton varieties (Ultima 6 and Supima) similar to its qualities with the Egyptian commercial varieties.
