This study included Four Chapters. The First Chapter contains (Introduction and Study Plan) which includes: (introduction to the study, the problem of the study, the objectives of the study, the importance of the study, the study hypotheses, the study methodology and finally the key words of the study).
While the Second Chapter contains the (Literature review), which is divided into five items, the First Item contains (Automatic Identification and Data Capture / Collection (AIDC)) through an introduction to (AIDC) and its history, then the components of (AIDC) systems, and the different types of systems that It depends on (AIDC) technology. As for the Second Item, it contains (Barcode System) as one of the (AIDC) systems, as it includes an introduction to the barcode and its history, then the structure of the barcode and how it works, and the advantages and disadvantages of the barcode. While the Third Item includes (Quick Response System (QR Code)), it is also one of the (AIDC) systems, and it contains an introduction to the Quick Response system and its history, then its structure and features, and the difference between the Barcode (1D) and the rapid response system (2D). Next comes the Fourth Item (Radio Frequency Identification system (RFID), which includes an introduction to (RFID), its history, then its components, how the RFID system works, the difference between the barcode and the (RFID) system, the advantages and disadvantages of the (RFID) system, and the different applications of RFID system. And finally, the Fifth Item, which includes (The RFID System in The Ready-Made Garment Industry), as this item contains the use of the (RFID) system in the fields of Ready-Made Garment and its various applications, starting with inventory management, tracking labor movement, Production control, Product Tracking System, Retail management, Merchandise Leveling Across Stores, Easy Product Accessibility in Retail Stores, Garment Washing and Laundering , RFID for brand segregation , Exchange Goods Inventory Control , RFID used in fitting room, Re-Stocking Alerts and Replenishment, RFID tags for care labeling, and finally customer relationship management.
As for the Third Chapter, which contains a (Experimental Study), a system has been built to monitor the actual time of product data using Automatic Identification and Data capture systems, which are the Barcode, QR Code, and RFID system. The system relies on both: converting traditional worksheets into tables and how to create those tables within the system, methods of creating codes within the system, printing them and attaching codes with the product, and in the end how to read the codes attached with the product and record data on the system. It should also be noted that this system has dispensed with the (Barcode) and (QR Code) reader and the codes were read through mobile phone applications. As for the (RFID) reader, it was replaced by mobile phones that have (NFC - Near field communication).
While the Fourth Chapter is (Results and Discussions), where the system was applied to a ready-made garment factory, by monitoring the actual time of product data using Barcode system, the Quick Response system (QR) and Radio Frequency Identification system (RFID), recording product data on the system at the time of entry and exit of product materials automatically in each department, and obtaining the necessary reports for each department and the most important (Supplying Movement of materials to the department report, Issuing Movement of materials from the department report). Hence, a comparison was made between the actual time of product data in the various departments and the production plan prepared previously.
The results of the study showed that there is a difference between the production plan and the actual time of the product data difference between the production plan and the actual time of the product data, and that the application of this system helps the management in obtaining easy product flow data in the different sections of the factory at the actual time, building a modern management style and a digital production environment with high transparency in the actual time, and achieving management Effective and making appropriate decisions.
This study recommends that this system based on AIDC technology can be applied in garment factories in all its departments, in order to obtain real-time product data, and system can also be developed to include various applications related to apparel, textiles, knitting, manufacturing, retail and inventory management.
At the end of this chapter came a summary of the study in English, a summary of the study in Arabic, as well as foreign references.
