The current research aimed to prepare a proposed conception of what the social studies curricula should be in the middle school, with its elements represented in: (objectives, content, activities, evaluation methods), in the light of sustainable development and identifying the effectiveness of the developed curriculum in developing the values of environmental awareness and achievement among female students in the classroom. seventh in middle school; To achieve this goal, a list of the dimensions of sustainable development that should be available in the social studies curricula at the intermediate stage was prepared, and a tool was prepared to analyze the content of the social studies curricula in the middle stage with its four grades in the light of the dimensions of sustainable development, and then translate the dimensions into a set of indicators that are considered a basis through which the extent to which the extent can be measured can be measured. Availability of dimensions in the social studies curricula in the middle stage, and finally reaching the proposed vision for the current social studies curricula in the middle stage, and an environmental awareness test and an achievement test were prepared. The results of the current research resulted in the following: 1- The requirements of sustainable development are not met in the social studies curricula at the intermediate stage by )61.(%. 2- There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance ≤ (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the environmental awareness test in favor of the experimental group. 3- There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance ≤ (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the two experimental groups in the pre and post applications of the environmental awareness test in favor of the post application. 4- There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance ≤ (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the achievement test in favor of the experimental group. 5- There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance ≤ (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the pre and post applications of the achievement test in favor of the post application. 6-The proposed conception of the developed social studies curriculum in light of the requirements of sustainable development achieved an effective degree of no less than (0.6) on the McGujian scale in developing environmental awareness among seventh grade students in the intermediate stage. 7- The proposed conception of the developed social studies curriculum in light of the requirements of sustainable development achieved an effective degree of no less than (0.6) on the McGujian scale in developing the achievement of seventh grade students in the intermediate stage.
