Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is an autoimmune disease that destroys the joints and reduces the quality of life of patients. Anti-inflammatory medications are extracted using flavonoids, which are one of the most significant natural compounds.Adenosine deaminase enzyme (ADA)(Ec)
3.5. 4.4)is the main inflammatory enzyme in rheumatoid arthritis (RA)disease. The aim of our study was to isolate and purify quercetin from Egyptian Fenugreek, evaluate its inhibitory effect in-silico, and in vivo on
ADA enzyme. Also, study the combinatorial effect of quercetin on
methotrexate anti-inflammatory and toxicity. The inhibitory effect of
quercetin on ADA was studied in-silico using molecular docking then confirmed by in vivo RA rats’ model with evaluation of some biochemical
parameters.
