Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of ammonium metavanadate, nickel sulphate and their mixture on liver and kidney of male rats. This is tailored by using biochemical indicators and antioxidant defense system parameters, through determination of body and organ weights, hematological and biochemical evaluation, determination of oxidative stress and enzymatic antioxidant, determination of biomarkers; GSH, GPx, GR, SOD and GST activities in the liver and kidney, determination of mixed function monooxygenase enzymes and determination of protein profile and DNA breakage.
