This study aimed to know the relationship between alienation and cultural identity in among a sample of Nubia youth, and to reveal the differences between youth responses on the scale of alienation and cultural identity to identify the impact of psychological and social factors on the study sample’s perception of alienation and their cultural identity. The final study sample consisted of (300) young men A young woman from Nubia in Aswan Governorate, and their ages ranged from (18: 35) years old, and the sample was randomly selected, and the researcher applied the scale of alienation (prepared by the researcher), and the scale of cultural identity (prepared by Mohammed Eid2000).
The study resulted in several result: The study resulted in several results, some of which are: The existence of a negative correlation and a statistical significance at the level of significance (0.01) between the total degree of alienation and its sub-dimensions, and the total degree of the Egyptian cultural identity and its sub-dimensions among the Nubia youth, except for the dimension of violence as one of the dimensions of cultural identity. The relationship was positive, and there were differences between the average scores of the two types (males and females) of Nubia youth on the total score of the alienation scale in the direction of females, and there were differences between the mean scores of chronological age (18-22 years, 22-30 years, 30-39). years) of Nubia youth on the total score of the scale of alienation and cultural identity in the direction of the age group (from 30-39 years), and there are differences between the average degrees of academic qualifications (read and write, intermediate qualification, high qualification, postgraduate studies) of Nubia youth on the total score of the scale of Egyptian cultural identity and alienation in the direction of postgraduate qualifications.
