Abstract
The aim of the present study was to determine plasma and tissue residues of
tilmicosin phosphate (Tilmibrok25) and Erythromycin after oral administration
for 5 constitutive days in broilers, also detect effect of L. carnitine on tilmicosin
and erythromycin residues in broiler chickens.
Residue study revealed a good distribution and absorption of tilmicosin
and erythromycin in liver, kidney and breast muscle, Tilmicosin residues could
be detected in plasma and all tissues till the 3th day after the last dose while
erythromycin residues could not be detected in tissues except in liver, The study
also revealed a significant defferent between group take tilmicosin only, and
group take tilmicosin with L.carnitine in the drug concentration in the liver at 2th
day and in kidney and breast muscle at 1th day after the last dose of the drug,
and a significant different between group take erythromycin only, and group take
erythromycin with L.carnitine in mean concentrations of the drug in plasmam, liver and breast muscle in 1th and 2th days after the last dose of the drug
