Abstract

This study focus on the effect of organic manure, biogas, rhizobium, and NPK fertilizers and its combined effect on pea plants cv. master-B, as well as, to compensate chemical fertilizers.
The effect of organic manure, biogas, rhizobium, and NPK fertilizers on pea plants cv. master-B were studied in two intervals experiments of years 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, at a private farm, AboHamad region, Sharkia Governorate, Egypt.
The study included 12 treatments; control, biogas (50 kg/fed), farm yard manure (FYM, 10 m3/fed), Rhizobium (Rh, 1.5 kg/fed.), NPK (100 N -200 P2O5-100 K2O), biogas (25)+ FYM (5), biogas (25) + Rh (0.75), biogas (25) + NPK (50 – 100- 50), FYM (5) + Rh (0.75), FYM(5) + NPK (50 – 100 – 50), Rh (0.75) + NPK (50-100-50) and biogas (125) + FYM (2.5) + Rh (0.375) + NPK (25 – 50 – 25). The treatments were arranged in a Randomized complete blokes design (RCBD) with three replicates.
The obtained results indicated that the treatment of farm yard manure + NPK fertilizer with half of recommended dose, followed by biogas + NPK, and Rh + NPK, resulted in significant increments on plant growth, fruit setting, leaves chemical contents, green pod yield and its components, and seed quality of pea plants.
This study could be used friendly fertilizers for the environment to minimize the pollution of soil and plants, as well as human race, and thus make ecosystem healthier.
