This thesis deals with research and study (Abu Al-Wafa Al-Ghunaimi Al-Taftazani and his Theosophy Thought), whereas Professor Abu Al-Wafa Al-Ghunaimi Al-Taftazani is a pioneer of the twentieth century in our contemporary Egypt, and he represents a unique personality among his generation of scholars, where he was one of the few in the history of world Arab thought that truly lived his life as a Sofia thinker, venerable Shaykh, former Vice President of Cairo University, distinguished university professor, ascetic despite his richness, he was rightly enlightened Sufi, enlightened in his study ... enlightened in his education and learning .. enlightened in teaching ... enlightened in linking Sufism always with ethics ... enlightened in linking Sufism always with psychology ... enlightened in associating Sufism with the culture and behavior of society ... in his constant criticism of the negative phenomena in contemporary society, including the overzealous of Sufis and the owners of the Sufi Methods.
The image of Islamic Sufism presented by this enlightened Sufi one of the intellectual tributaries that provided readers and researchers with knowledge and ethical gems derived legitimacy from the Holy Quran and Sunnah and the biography of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and has a special cognitive style, linking knowledge to a direct experience based on behavior and will, adopting taste and introspection as a method of interpreting phenomena.
Therefore, this research comes to highlight two main axes that define the general framework through which the truth of the Islamic Sufi trend can be revealed to our great professor and his role in changing the cultural and social path of the nation, First: The religious basis and the behavioral attenuation from which the mystic starts in his spiritual experience represented in the Quran and Sunnah and the words and deeds of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them),
Second: The richness of Sufi knowledge and its beauty, where Abu Al-Wafa Al-Taftazani paints a path of knowledge based on human action and will which rises the spirit of man to the highest degree of moral perfection, reflecting the image of the human as God’s caliphs on earth and bearer of God’s trust.

- To benefit from his serious attempts at authorizing and rooting for the Sufi Muslims to the renaissance of Sufi thought in general and not only in Egypt.
- To clarify that Abu Al-Wafa Al-Taftazani combines a spiritual moral Sufism stems from the adoption of the Sunni trend in Sufism related to a comprehensive conception of the sciences of Islamic religious law along with deep thorough research. This tendency was reflected in his satisfaction, his true Islamic behavior, which he committed to in public life, and because he embodied the Sufism of its theoretical and scientific aspects, and because he was a pious, ascetic, a knower of God (Arif), also, he was an examiner, investigator, verifier, example, model and a living reality of Islamic morality.
