Abstract
Introduction: types of scars ,different lines of treatment and prevention including fractional CO2 laser and PRP The aim of work: evaluation and comparison of clinical results and histological architexture and collagen remodelling following treatment of mature scar with a fractional CO2 laser and /or platelet rich plasma PRP Research Plan:. Clinical evaluation using standard photographing before and after treatment of mature scars with fractional CO2 & PRP ,or fractional CO2 alone or PRP alone with a biopsy taken from hypertrophic scars before and after treatment for histological evaluation Results: the study showed that fractional CO2 laser combined with PRP ,fractional CO2 only and PRP only are safe and effective methods for treatment of mature scars with better results in fractional CO2 combined with PRP group Conclusion:. fractional CO2 laser combined with PRP ,fractional CO2 only and PRP only are safe and effective methods for treatment of mature scars
