This aim of this Study is to investigate the Geomorphological hazards in the depression and determining the natural factors and man’s role in occurring these hazards. Furthermore, the study observes the consequences of the hazards either on man or on their activities, In addition, the study made a group of suggestionss for facing and limiting these hazards in the study area. This study includes five chapters, in addition to an introduction including location of the study area, the reasons for selecting the subject and its objectives, previous works, material and methods, sources and stages of the study. In addition, a conclusion contains an Arabic and English summaries. Chapter one: This chapter included natural features in the study area. Chapter two: Deals with the movement of materials in the depression and their geomorphical hazards. This chapter also put some measures to stope these hazards. Chapter three: Focuses on the geomorphological danger that connected with sabkhas . this chapter investigates the risks associated with the spread of sabkhas and ways of facing them. Chapter Four: This chapter also studying the dangers associated with sand movement on urbanization, agricultural land, roads and water resources. At the end of the chapter, some solutions were put to deal with the hazards resulting from sand movement, including mechanical and biological methods and afforestation . Chapter Five: This chapter also studying the dangers resulting from the use of ground water. The chapter ended by putting some proposed solutions to reduce the levels of pollution. The conclusion: Deals with the most important results, and suggests some recommendations which may contribute to reduce the risks in Baharia depression.
