Abstract

This thesis aimed to investigate the applicability of using recycled aggregate as a partial replacement of natural aggregate. It studied experimentally and analytically the shear performance of reinforced concrete beams made of recycled coarse aggregate. Various percentage of recycled aggregate replacement ratios were used to find the optimum replacement ratio to obtain acceptable properties of recycled aggregate.
