Abstract

Despite of many benefits of silver nanoparticles AgNPs induced their increasing usage raised concern about the consequences and health treats that it might bring to humans. Pomegranate molasses (P.M) has been used in the folk medicine of many cultures especially in the Middle East. P.M has become more popular because of the attribution of important physiological properties. For assessment of toxicological potential of AgNPs and P.M effects, adverse action of its action so, apply this study protocol.
Sixty mature male albino mice were divided into six groups (Ten/ each). Animals of 1st group were kept as negative control, 2nd one was injected I/P AgNPs (78 mg/kg.b.wt.) for 14 days, 3rd group, given pomegranate molasses (20 ml/kg.bw) orally by stomach lavage for 28 days, 4th group P.M was administered for 14 days firstly followed by injected AgNPs I/P 5th group AgNPs inject at first for 14 days and treated with P.M orally for another 14 days and 6th group received P.M with AgNPs for 14 days of this study could be summarized as follows:-
1- Determination of kidney function test:-
Regarding the effect of AgNPs toxically elevated the kidney function of creatinine, Urea and urea, the preventive treatment of pomegranate molasses reduced the hazardous.
