المستخلص The development of architecture and interior design has been and is still dependent on the process of development of human thought in various aspects of life. The architecture and interior design of The Government Headquarters in Egypt have passed through many stages within the historical era. This study deals with the study of the architecture and interior design of the governance buildings in Egypt since the Islamic conquest by Amr ibn al-Aas in 641 AD to the present time, and that there is a relationship between the political transformations and the architecture and the internal design of the governance buildings. The relationship between politics and architecture has not been separated from the beginning of the Islamic state until our time, since the authority has to be form the architectural headquarters through which the work in the management of people, whether these premises: palace or the house of the emirate or a Citadel or a fortress, all this led to the architecture and interior design of the headquarters of the Egyptian government lost its distinctive character through the Different ages In our research, examples of some Islamic government buildings in Egypt were used to design parts of a presidential palace in the modern Islamic style that reflects our Egyptian identity. |
