Abstract End stage renal disease (ESRD) is a kidney failure in which approximately 90% of renal function has been lost. Hemodialysis is a method for removing waste products such as creatinine and urea, as well free water from the blood that takes at least 3 to 4 hours a day, two or three times a week. So hemodialysis patients have lower physical activity, muscle performance and quality of life than healthy subjects .However, Intradialytic exercise that increased muscle flow and greater amount of open capillary surface area in working muscles will result in a greater flux of urea and associated toxins from the tissue to the vascular compartment for subsequent removal at the dialyser lead to improve of dialysis efficacy and improve physical performance. The aim of the study is :To evaluate the effect of exercise training program on dialysis efficacy and physical performance for haemodialysis patient. Research design:A quasi experimental design was used for the study.Setting:The study was done at Hemodialysis Department in the Educational Hospital at Tanta university affilated to Minestry of high education,Egypt |
