Abstract

The rapid and massive growth in the field of cloud computing, communications, networks, hackers information, and the designers of malicious software, impulse the cloud service providers to look for sophisticated means, to increase security of data cloud, by providing the best ways for subscribers and customers. The frantic race between the service providers to provide storage services and secure data, pushing them to search and develop for the best encryption and decryption algorithms regardless of the cost, taking into consideration that gain the trust of subscribers and customers is high priority, through the Guaranteed provision of safe systems environment rather than a heterogeneous unsecured systems environment and unreliable. Cloud computing, offers a lot of application services, websites, which offer ineffective security services to subscribers, when using them may lead to a failure to achieve user’s security data, which exposes them to damage or piracy. This thesis presents the security management of on cloud computing, an integrated security managements, should take into account securing both, the system and the data, the proposed system is based on heuristic stating that “valuable things need more security, this thesis investigates how to ensure, the security of extracted data from a system, that is built using Xampp, to be published on cloud. First, the cost of the system is determined using COCOMO in terms of lines of code. The cost of the data contained in the system is calculated using regression. The researcher provides a mathematical proof of the equation that relates the data cost to the key length that is used in encryption.
