Abstract
This cross-sectional study was carried out in the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Center of Psychiatry, Neurology and Neurosurgery internal medicine department, Tanta University Hospitals. The duration of this study was six months, starting from February 2017. the aim of this study was to evaluate neurological complications in patient with systemic lupus erythematosus. All patients in this study were subjected to the following: History taking: Including personal history, risk factors, SLE duration, educational level, history of abortion, epilepsy and acute metabolic disturbances Physical and full Neurological examination including assessment of cognitive function using The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), patients with cerebrovascular stroke were assessed byModified Rankin Disability Scale. Lab investigations Routine lab investigations were done for all patients including CBC, renal functions ……, ESR , ANA and AntidsDNA.
