Abstract Non extensive statistics provide an excellent application in the field of high energy collisions to study the thermal properties of the produced particles. We applied Tsallis-Pareto with few parameters like the entropy index q, the temperature T to study the transverse momentum distribution of produced hadrons (p±, k±, p, ¯ p) in p+ p collisions at center of mass energies psNN = 62.4,200,900 GeV and Au+Au collisions at psNN = 62.4,200 GeV at RHIC and Pb + Pb collisions at psNN =2.7TeV at LHC. The model parameters in addition to the average transverse momentum of produced hadrons and flow velocity are studied as a function of collisions energies, centralities and the mass of the produced hadrons. A mass dependent freezout temperature is observed to exist and is the same for particles and its antiparticle. Protons and antiprotons found smaller values of q compared to pions and kaons. |
