Specialized research study :
(Al – Mandala in the Islamic art and its benefits for the developments of artistical artifacts in a contemporary vision) .
The current research aims at investigating Al – Mandala in ”Islamic Art” and how to benefit from it in producing artistic works with contemporary vision . It contributes to enriching the field of artistic work designing through producing a group of contemporary designs .
The current research includes five chapters which are as follows :
Chapter One : Introduction
It dealt with the research background, problem, hypotheses, aims, significance and delimitations . Also, it tackled the research design, procedures, definition of terms and the related studies .
Chapter Two : The philosophy of beauty in Islamic Art Heritage
It dealt with the principles of monotheism, abstraction, unity and diversity as aesthetic values in Islamic art . Also, it deals with rhythmic repetition, space, light, aesthetic expression of the whole though the parts, infinity and its philosophical implication . In addition, it tackled the factors of Islamic art including the vegetarian, human, animal, geometric and written factors . The concept and nature of artistic vision and vision in Islamic art with reference to applications of artistic vision in some eras of the Islamic state .
Chapter Three : Al – Mandala philosophy and Applications
It dealt with the definition of Al – Mandala, Al Mandala in nature (including plants, rocks heavenly galaxies etc … ) and in human beings . Also, it deals with Al – Mandala in eastern philosophies including :
First , Al – Mandala in the eastern south of Asia .
Secand , Al – Mandala in Ancient Egyptian art .
Third , Al – Mandala in Coptic art .
Fourth , Al – Mandala in Islamic art Heritage in addition , the current chapter dealt with Al – Mandala in the ”Modern Age” , The various forms and symbols and symbols of Al – Mandala structures , the engineering foundation of Islamic heritage and the visual relationships of Al – Mandala designs in Islamic heritage .
Chapter Four : Performance key – points in Artistic work
It dealt with the definition of artistic work and the artistic foundations / basics of the piece of artistic work that included the artistic design with is classified into :
a) the element of designing the piece of work .
b) the values of artistic molding / forging .
It also dealt with the execution criteria which included :
a) blending in artistic work,
b) experimentation in artistic work, and
c) techniques, raw materials and complements .
In addition, it tackled the artistic production which included :
a) the relationship between shape (form) and ground, and
b) the relationship between shape (form) and background .
Chapter Five: Researcher’s Artistic work ( the application part ) :
It dealt with the research method and procedures . It included :
First : the theoretical framework encompassing aim, importance and shaping / molding limits of the experiment .
Second : the application part encompassing the design of the researcher’s artistic work and her presentation of such artistic work .
The researcher prepared a judging criterion and validated it . she presented her artistic work to be evaluated , treated data statistically and interpreted the results in the light of the research hypotheses . The findings, conclusions and recommendations were also provided . she concluded with the research’s references , summary and abstract .
