Al-Andalus history is an important part of the Islamic history. It lasted for eight centuries, which were full of honorable achievements as well as distressful failure. It’s a source to all people, who want to understand the events’ sequence at our world in order to know how to deal with their present and future. Al-Andalus history is suffused with not only political events, but also civilizing achievements. So, researchers are interested in studying this historical period. I hope that my research on the military tricks from the Islamic conquest to the end of the Taifa period (92- 484 / 711-1091) in Al-Andalus would be a fructified addition. The trick in the Arabic language means deception and skullduggery. The deception is the pretending in order to mislead others. It’s a part of military science and it’s very important at the war. It means also the disguise and misguidance to distract the enemy. Al-Andalus had a special position among the Islamic countries, as it was full of fortune. In addition, it witnessed lots of military operations because of its neighboring to christians. So, Muslims were alert all the time.
