Abstract

The sign language represents a great significance for the hearing impaired when dealing with others in the house, mosque, the street, school, government departments, and even in their dealings with each other. Sign language is part of the methods of communication between humans, so the interest of them has intensify increased after recognized it in many countries of the world. Sign language based on hand movements, gestures and facial expressions. Many researches focused on translated Arabic sign language.
This study has translated Arabic text into Arabic sign language and vice versa, this type of translation is not easy, since it depends on the image recognition, and text processing. Therefore, it is an active field in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, machine translation, natural language processing, and image processing.
