Abstract
Introduction: The use of lung US for diagnosis of PTX. The aim of work: The present study aimed to evaluate the potential role of US in the diagnosis of occult PTX in chest trauma patients. Research Plan: The study recruited 100 patients with chest trauma. In addition to the thorough history taking and clinical examination, they triply imaged using chest X-ray, CT and US. Results: Our study revealed statistically significant agreement between CT and ultrasound. Conclusion: Chest US in the diagnosis of PTX is recommended during the primary Survey.
