Abstract In this study, patient’s profile before and after transplant process is used to provide a Clinical Grading Scheme. using Decision Tree Classifier and Rule Based Classifiers a comparison is provided with Logistic Regression as statistical technique .in addition ,a prediction of predict graft survival period using Decision Tree Classifier (REPTree) and Rule Based Classifiers (M5Rules) is proposed and a comparison to linear regression as statistical technique is provided. Empirical Data is used in the period from March 1976 to June 2007 from the Urology and Nephrology Center (UNC), Mansoura, Egypt. The data set consisted of 58 attributes and 1900 instances.Results showed an accuracy of 74% - 77% case of Clinical Grading Scheme prediction an accuracy of 70%-87% in case of prediction of graft survival period. there are a number of predictive and comprehensible rules were discovered using classification method. and these rule are easy for doctors to understand the relations between the rules and affects of certain data of patient in renal transplant process. Also Demographic knowledge is provided. |
