Extract of the Research Symbols of African Art as a Source to enrich the
Ceramic Mural
The research aims to study the symbols of the African art and use them in enriching the ceramic mural, the research handled in it’s chapters by study the concept of the African arts and it’s history especially the African ceramic, the ritual of making it and it’s special features. The researcher clarified the future of the traditional ceramics industry in West African and listed the most important elements of the African art, then collected the shapes of the African art linear, sculptural holographic symbols, explaining it’s meaning. the researcher explained the psychology of color, according to the symbols of the African art, and an analytical study to the models of the sculptures and ceramic works belonging to the European pioneers artists who were affected by the African art, she addressed the concept of mural general and ceramic mural especially, and how to make it by explanation using steps, and the most important adjectives of the contemporary ceramic mural of the , Arabs and foreigners potters, the researcher made a group of works of ceramic art translating some of the African symbols which are collected through the theoretical study.
