This research focuses on studying one of the most ever important idiom books; it is «knowledge of the types of Hadith science», by Ibn Al-Salah. In this research, I dealt with what I found of objections and recantations mentioned by some authors after Ibn Al-Salah against him; tried to combine among the sayings; the words of Ibn Al-Salah, and words of the objectors. It was not my care to defend Ibn Al-Salah , but my aim was to shed light on the correct saying among those of the objectors, or to correct the doctrine of Ibn Al-Salah , and to clarify the reason for the objector’s error, or to show that the issue’s possibility to bear both opinions with no one faulted. All of this comes through research and exploration in the books of biography, especially in the studies on the knowledge of the narrators, their names surnames, nicknames, and so on. This also comes through the study of each issue separately in the books of the idiom – as possible -, without boring lengthening or violating shortening. Concerning the approach used in this research, I used the descriptive and analytical approach. The research is as follows: Introduction: It showed the importance of the subject, and the reason for its choice. I mentioned my approach in studying objections and recantations against Ibn Al-Salah. Preface: First: Efforts of the Hadith narrators in keeping the Sunnah, and their care of both text and reference. Second: objections against Ibn Al-Salah in the introduction to his book «knowledge of the types of Hadith science». Chapter one: Who is Imam Ibn Al-Salah, and who are imams recanting him? Chapter two: Approach of Ibn Al-Salah in his book, and approaches of imams recanting him, each in his book. Then, I divided the types in which there are objections and recantations (fifty-five types) against Ibn Al-Salah in his introduction in eight chapters. Then, I ended with conclusion, recommendations, and technical indexes.
